We've gone and done it and won a lovely silver award at the Driven x Design Sydney Design Awards 2021 (the world’s largest network of Design Award Programs) in the fintech design category!

We're gearing up to launch with a design-first strategy aimed at helping Australian businesses cut wasteful spending and the time taken up on financial administration work. Our launch awareness campaign was recognised for its achievements amongst a number of winners – including the rebrand of payments provider Eftpos, as well as the recently launched consumer apps for both Westpac and superannuation fund Aware Super.

We're now beta testing our services with our ever-growing waitlist of 1,350 companies, we are looking to combine expense management, advanced business credit limits, a physical and virtual corporate card program, real time reporting, and automation of accounting workflows, into a single platform supporting finance and accounting professionals.

When creating the brand identity, we wanted to inject charm and warmth to our brand and move away from the cold, traditional standards and tech visuals of finance and technology firms.

The website and campaign was designed and led by our awesome in-house creative team. Creative Director John Penney said, “We’re absolutely thrilled to be recognised alongside some of the most innovative teams, companies and individuals from across Sydney. We were up against some huge names, so just to receive a nomination was fantastic”.

“Traditionally there’s been no place for much emotion in finance/fintech design, so we have been conscious to set ourselves apart in that respect. This includes everything from the way we engage with customers and how our UI works, to our brand identity engaging with small business owners, who are there to do something that they love.”

The Driven x Design awards will honour Cape at its ceremony on the 19th of October in Sydney.
