Secure your Cape account with two-factor authentication

We’re excited to finally bring Two-Factor Authentication to all Cape cardholder accounts. This new security feature will add an extra layer of protection to your account and provide you with additional peace of mind.
Two Factor Authentication (2FA) means using two methods (or factors) to verify yourself.

A one time password received by your chosen method
You may have seen that there is a growing number of cyberattacks and data breaches worldwide, and although we’re yet to be affected by them, we understand the importance of providing all our cardholders with the highest level of security to avoid this from ever happening. 2FA is a globally recognised industry standard and is recommended by cybersecurity experts to prevent unauthorized access to user accounts like yours.
Why isn’t it optional?
We deal with sensitive data, so we should always be opting for more security, not less.
We have made it mandatory for all cardholders to ensure users' accounts are better protected and reassure you that everything is safe and secure.
How do I benefit?
Enhanced Security: With 2FA, your Cape account will be more secure than ever as it requires an additional factor (a unique code sent to your phone or email) in addition to your password to log in.
Protection against Fraud: 2FA will help to reduce the risk of unauthorised access and fraudulent activities on your Cape account.
Peace of mind: With this extra layer of protection, you don’t have to worry about malicious agents like hackers or scammers accessing your Cape account

How do I enable 2FA?

Choose to receive your OTP by email or SMS (these are the verification methods we support)
Verify this as yours by entering the code received via your chosen factor
Success! You're all set.
We highly recommend that you get all cardholders in your company to set up 2FA as soon as possible to ensure maximum security for your accounts.
